Thankful For A Simple Thing

Given that it has been a cooler, overcast day with rain on and off, I had the Arcadia door open with just the screen to keep the bugs out.

Not only did it give fresh air, but just the simple sounds of the rain falling today made this day so relaxing.  I’m caught up on dishes and finishing up with this past week’s laundry.  I also cleaned both the bathroom sink and the kitchen sinks out, so things are starting to get back into shape around here.

Another two weeks and I’m taking a week off for vacation, and I’m really looking forward to doing more deep cleaning around this house in an effort to get somewhat caught up.
