So Far Today...

I actually got out of bed after an evening of body pain.  Mostly from pulling muscles in my back, shoulders and arms this past week at work.  Welcome back to school.

Today, I’m still nauseous and sore, but I’ve made some progress.

1 load of dishes and cleaning the kitchen countertops.

1 load of laundry and clean clothes were put away.

A second scented stick was put in the little box for them in my closet.

Another load of laundry switched out and work pants put away.  The maroon work shirts are in the dryer while the forest green are still in the washer awaiting it’s turn.  I wash them together on delicate and then dry them separately.  It’s weird, but it works.  BTW, everything gets washed in cold unless I need to sanitize it, but colors always get washed in cold.

I finally got the computer up and running (I ran updates on it 2 days ago) and got my iTunes back up and running, so I’m listening to The Millionaire Next Door on audiobook.  I’ve listened to it many times before, but it’s one of those I can leave for a few minutes and know what I’ve missed.

A second load of dishes in the dishwasher, this has cleared out the human dishes in the sink.  Previous loads were the cat food dishes.

One litter box has been switched out, 2 bags of trash have been taken to the dumpster.

I ate breakfast and took meds, I need to take my inhaler and take a nap.  I feel week and out of energy, I’m also very warm, but that could be the menopause.  Once the clothes are done, I need to do my undergarments and bath stuff.

Oh, and at some point I need to take the baggie of vinegar off the shower head and rinse it off.  We’ll see if it made a dent with the shower head.

Update:  It’s a little after noon and the dishes are in the drying cycle, the laundry has been switched out and the dry work shirts put away.  I’ve taken my vitamins since it’s been 2 hours after taking the antibiotic I have from the last time I got sick.  Hopefully the meds and vitamins will help my body heal.

Your Friday Night Ahhh.

I’m so exhausted.  I was a little worried I might fall asleep behind the wheel.  I clocked out today and found my hours for the week:  47.  Not quite the 50 I was estimating, but it was close.  I’m ready for good food, and a lot of sleep.  I’ve put a sandwich bag with vinegar in it on the shower head, it’s only giving a trickle of water due to the hard water here.  Also a load of laundry and a load of dishes.  More to do tomorrow and to see what can be done with the decluttering.  We will see how it goes.

This Week May Have To Be Skipped...

After a 10 hour day at work on Monday, Tuesday became an 11 hour and 45 minute workday, after a 1 hour lunch.  Given the load of work handed to my coworker and I, I’m figuring on a lot of long days this week.  I do need to finish the sheet sets (part 3), comforters (part 4), books on cooking, gardening, decor that I keep in the dining room bookshelf.  I have plans to do it, just no time to do it before I’m supposed to be in bed for the night.

Maybe I can do an extra week in August, depending on my workload.

I do plan on continuing with the decluttering, though, it has been great to have less to clean and care for and be able to see the results!

Much, much more to go through and do, though.

Take care, I’ll try to post something soon.

Day 24 - His And Hers... A Little Delayed

Yesterday was day 1 of the new teachers coming for their computer training.

This meant my carrying 30-50 pounds of computer equipment out of my office and into the training facility.  Needless to say, my body was stiff and hurting.  And that was after a 10 hour work day (we are supposed to be at 8 now), a trip to Costco for gas in the car, a trip to Walmart for groceries and then home.

Tired.

Day 23: Stuffed Animals Part 2

After Decker died, I was gathering all of the stuff animals I have collected over the years, I heard about and purchased a toy hammock at Toys R Us (RIP).  My Dad put it up for me and I proceeded to fill it to the gills with stuffed animals.  Again, some from family, friends and then some came from boyfriends and/or husband.

Just a note, I kept the wild animals and one Dalmatian given that I am going to be theming my office as Disneyland (the park).  The animals will be part of Adventureland.

Here we go:

What I’m donating (except for Gypsy):

Yes, that red thing is a Noid.  As in Domino’s Pizza’s Avoid The Noid.  There is a story behind that, but not today.  LOL.

Keepers:

Yes, I’m keeping E.T.  Mickey and Minnie are my 1970’s dolls that my parents got for me during trips to Disneyland, back in the days of E Tickets.  Yeah, I’m that old, people.  Get over it.  LOL.

The Pillsbury Dough Boy was my first stuffed animal as a baby.  My sister and I had matching ones and this was the surviving one given that I removed it from her house and put it in a safe place.  The Dough Boy is strictly lines and clothes painted on, so it’s safe for a baby to hold and chew on.  Definitely needs to be washed.

The unicorn in the back will go with my Harry Potter stuff.

The final result:
