New Tech = Faster Speed!

I have been getting emails from Cox (my ISP) telling me my modem was out of date and would not work with the newer tech that Cox is implementing. It took 3 phone calls and a trip to the Cox store, but I finally got the new modem working with Cox and the wireless router worked when I followed the instructions in the manual.  I looked at Consumer Reports and the reviews for these and other brands and this looked the best.  I went with the same brand for both modem and wireless router in order to get them working together more easily.

One Box At A Time...

I’ve cleared out 3 office boxes (1 was found empty) and I’m down to the last one for today.

How Much Money Do You Really Need In Life?

There are people in this world who want to be rich.  If you’re one of them, you’ll want to read this article from Bloomberg.  God bless you in your journey and good luck.

For me, I’m still trying to figure out the wealth thing.  My attitude is I just want enough that is is “sufficient for my needs”.

Enough to cover the emergencies in life, enough to be able to retire without skipping meals, enough for maybe one trip per year.

I don’t know how much that is, but it is certainly not $25 million dollars, which according to private bankers, is ground level rich.

I’ve begun replacing my plastic containers with glass and will be incorporating some metal containers as well in the kitchen.  The plastic straws have been replaced with metal straws you can order online from Walmart.com.

The Glue That Was My Sutures

This past Thursday I went for the Post Op.

They took out two cysts, one was endometriosis, the other was the kind that can come back.  Yeah, like I need another one of those.

The doctor asked if the adhesive had washed away.  I told him I guess it had, I hadn’t really noticed.

Tonight it peeled off.  All three areas.  Man, it hurts.

Pain is progress, right?
